How Compliance Testing Works
Client Onboarding
To begin working with Indo Labs, we need to know some things about you, including your basic information to include on reports and license number issued by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, via a Client Intake Form.
This information allows us to set your facility up with a customer profile in our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to check on order status, retrieve Certificates of Analysis, and verify open Invoices. You’ve spent significant time and resources to craft your product, and we want to make the laboratory testing aspect of your logistics a simple process.
Submit An Order Request
Place your order and schedule transport of testing samples through our dedicated Project Manager.
Once the required paperwork (Chain of Custody and Transport Manifest) is received and verified as complete, we will send you transport details and expectations to ensure your project is set up for success prior to arrival.
Laboratory Testing and COA Delivery
Once samples are delivered to our convenient Marlborough, MA location, it’s time for us to get to work on meeting your turn-around time requirements. Samples are verified against the Chain of Custody, photographed, and cataloged into our LIMS. Samples are homogenized and sub-aliquoted for the requested tests, and delivered to our experienced laboratory staff to complete preparation, extraction, and analysis. Each batch of data is then reviewed by a qualified senior staff member or manager prior to marking each test as complete.
Once all tests in a given order have been completed, data is prompted to publish in an easy-to-read Certificate of Analysis, as well as uploaded to the state database as required by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission. You will be notified when the Order is reported, and can retrieve Certificates of Analysis anytime from your confidential customer portal profile.
